P.A.W. Partnership for Animal Welfare, 200 LOW-COST Surgeries, 2017!
The figures are in, we subsidized more than 200 spay and neuter surgeries in Lincoln and Otero Counties in 2017! This helps to reduce the numbers of unwanted litters being born by thousands, and we are SO grateful to great businesses like Lowe’s Signature Market Alamogordo, Alberston’s Ruidoso, True Value Western Auto, First Savings Bank, and other wonderful lifesavers who allow us to place our donation boxes on their counters! Thank you all who drop in your spare change, it’s a difference- less dogs and cats destroyed in animal control facilities, and other horrible fates.
Please forward this story to everyone you know, whether you know someone who needs this help or not, your friends might! The cost to the pet guardian is just $45, which saves them hundreds of dollars, and the program is available to those with a total household income of $30,000 or less- people who just couldn’t afford it otherwise.
Lisa Yehle is our P.A.W. representative, and will help everyone register in just a few minutes. Registrations are available MWF at Animal Village NM, 2-4pm, and all that’s required is proof of income, residency in Otero County or Lincoln County, NM, and up to date vaccinations of your pets.
Bless all who help to reduce suffering, and donate to help this cause. There are no salaries paid to any of our staff, and there never has been. We started this program because it’s needed, and we have subsidized more than 7,000 surgeries since 2007!
