WHAT HAPPENED TO 'BABY ASH'?

During rescue efforts for animals in the paths of fires and floods, AnimalVillageNM began trapping efforts for a feral cat colony at the Shell Station on Hwy. 48, in Alto, NM. 'Baby Ash' was trapped and accepted by Animal Rescue League of El Paso, where she was spayed and fully vetted, then fostered by AnimalVillageNM director, Sunny Aris. As she became more and more tame, a lovely fellow in Colorado fell in love with her online, and traveled to Ruidoso to adopt her for life. Robert adores her, and was waiting for the stability of being out of the military before adopting. She is now living her best life in a high rise condominium outside of Denver! Thank you to all the supporters of AnimalVillageNM for helping us to save this little sweetheart, whose only chance was with our help!

Robert fell in love with Ash when he saw our post on Petfinder. He came down from Colorado to Ruidoso that weekend, and with his veterinarian mom's high recommendations, he was approved to adopt.

Ash is now living her best life in a high rise condominium in Colorado, with work-at-home dad Robert!
